Ingredients
Ingredients: 6
6 - 10 rhubarb stalks (depending on size)
400g flour
200g sugar
200g butter or margarine
Preparation:
Clean the rhubarb, peel if necessary and cut into small chunks. Steam shortly with a little water (microwave or pot).
Make crumble from the flour, the butter and sugar using an electric mixer. Grease a large baking dish and line with the prepared rhubarb. Sprinkle with sugar according to taste. Spread the crumble on top and bake the dish in a preheated oven at 200 ° until the crumbs are golden brown and crispy (about 1 / 2 hour). Serve while still hot and \"cool\" with a good dollop of vanilla ice cream on top.
As our own rhubarb turned out a bit small and weak this year, we were saved by our generous grandmother Elizabeth with her magnificent rhubarb plant and still able to enjoy this \"Sour makes you jolly\" recipe! Even if the rhubarb time should be over ... this dish is good with any sour fruit (but rhubarb is best!!). Definitely try it next year - it is worth it :-)
