The Christian Kähler family welcomes you to their campground "Fishing Village".
Our campsite is situated directly at the water´s edge, in front of the green dike in the middle of the unique nature of the National Park of Lower Saxony´s mudflats.
You can watch from your plot, as the shrimp trawlers and fishing boats from the idyllic harbour of Fedderwardersiel sail out on a fishing trip or successfully return back to port. Buy your fish and shrimps at the harbour shop - you won´t get it any fresher than that - straight off the boat!!
The dike and surrounding area are ideal for extended walks or bike rides on quiet country roads. Take time out and just relax on our private lawn or take a swim in the North Sea, regardless of tidal water.
Children are most welcome and will certainly meet new friends in no time. There is always something to discover around our site: from playing on the lawns to building impressive castles when the tide is out.
Never mind if the weather looks dodgy - there are numerous events and activities on offer in the surrounding area.
Anyone who does not wish to camp or pitch a tent can book our holiday home in the resort at the marina Fedderwardersiel instead. It is a wooden house built in the Finnish style and offers 3 bedrooms and plenty of space for 6 people on two levels.
