In our family-friendly house, you have the choice between two new and fully equipped apartments, one of which is suitable for people with allergies.

You reside directly on the main avenue in Burhave ( "Strandallee" with slow traffic), only about 100m from the beach. The garden with its garden furniture, barbecue and sandbox provides our guests with a relaxing place or gives them the opportunity for a comfortable get-together.

Whether you choose the garden, beach or one of the many recreational options - in our fresh iodised North Sea air, you will soon be able to leave all worries behind!

Our fully operational farm is located on a quiet country road, about 3 km from the North Sea and Burhave. We keep 50 cows, calves and sheep. Our chickens, rooster and our two goats Tarzan and Tine provide the "musical" background. Our dog Bella is always around, loves children and - like the cats - is always willing to stop for little hands to stroke her. After check-in we will provide some guidance for your kids to gather their first experience with horseback riding on our two ponies Edo and Karei.

Our garden, with its two terraces, benches, roofed wicker beach chair and barbecue is the ideal place to play and relax. Children will love the green yard and its climbing frame with swings and gymnastic pole, the little ones will enjoy their own sand pit and play house with table and chairs. You are allowed to play everywhere on our yard. Anyone who wants to be physically active, will find a lot of free space for ball games and other recreational activities. All players big and small will find a goal wall, basketball hoop and table tennis at their disposal.

Welcome to the "van Spijkeren Farmhouse" in Burhave at the North Sea

This listed "Niedersachsenhof" is one of the oldest farms in Butjadingen and has been in our care since 2008.
Situated in the heart of Butjadingen, surrounded by green fields and old trees, it offers peace and relaxation for everyone. Our farm is located just outside of Burhave with shops and restaurants within easy reach on foot or by bike (secure bicycle path directly in front of farm).

Our apartments are very spacious, and idealy suited for families with children. The garden offers plenty of space for large and small, and the many events and recreational activities all around Butjadingen provide plenty of entertainment. Only a "stone's throw away" you find the FFN-North Sea Lagoon, play barn, riding stables and much more. A boat trip with the "Wega II" from the idyllic little fishing port of Fedderwardersiel is always a great experience.
