The author wrote extensive works on the dictatorship of Francisco Franco and the transition to democracy in Spain, wrote articles for the Schulfunk, and dealt with the analysis of conductors and church music. For 15 years, Aike lived Koch on Mallorca. in 1989, she began the restoration of the farm on the Höchte in Eckwarden, which is since then permanent place of residence of the author.
